FOUNDER
I grew up surrounded by books and was raised to appreciate the power of literature to transport you to new worlds or help you understand your own. In a world increasingly dominated by visual technology and misinformation, it is essential for younger generations to maintain a connection to textual culture, remaining educated, well-informed and curious.
CO-FOUNDER
I care about this organization because I know how powerful reading and writing can be in shaping a young person’s voice and education. Growing up, I loved reading and as technology becomes more dominant in kids’ lives, I want to help keep hat love for reading and writing alive.
CHILD LEARNING EVENTS CO-DIRECTOR
Hi! My name is Eunice, and I’m a rising senior at LHS. I’m so excited to have this role! I’m passionate about helping kids build a love for reading because I believe it opens up endless possibilities and boosts creativity. I’m looking forward to fun story times, creative writing sessions, and interactive activities that inspire young minds and foster a lifelong love of books!

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I will be a rising senior at LHS. I’m looking forward to meeting new friends and working alongside those who share my passion for working with children. I am also excited to have the chance to teach future generations the importance of improving their reading and writing skills, as well as helping them learn to enjoy it through the activities we have planned.

From my childhood to my future career, writing has always been a non-negotiable passion of mine, one that I find both comfort and joy in pursuing. This love of literature extended naturally to reading as well, fostering an environment that encouraged creativity and challenged me to think beyond my comfort zone. Through every story I’ve written and every book I’ve read, I’ve discovered new perspectives and learned the power of literature to connect people. Therefore, I hope to be a vessel for those who find themselves on a path similar to mine, to further create more opportunities, that not only reflect my own journey but also empower others to embrace their voices!
